Special Session 9:
Munich – Singapore Cooperative Semiconductor and IC Research

ORGANIZERS
Ulf Schlichtmann, Technical University of Munich, Germany and Liter Siek, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore

SYNOPSIS
NTU and TUM have been cooperating in education and research in semiconductor technology, circuit and system design and EDA for about 5 years now. The cooperation has grown in breadth and in depth. It spans the range from nanometer devices to systems comprising billions of transistors. More and more researchers in both locations have gotten involved over the years. In this session, we will present some of the latest research results originating from this cooperation. It ranges from advances in novel devices, analog and digital circuit design and methodology to system-level considerations.
